h16View: Windows Hex/ASCII File Viewer

h16View, a Hex/ASCII File Viewer, allows you to open a file & view the contents as both hex & ASCII characters. It works like Microsoft® Notepad in that you can use a scrollable window to quickly scan through the file. Copy/paste & editing are not implemented at this time. h16View has been tested on a Windows® XP & a Windows® Vista system, but I'm hoping it will work from Windows® 2000 & after (and it might even work on Windows® 95 or 98).

To download & use h16View

• Use the link below to download the h16View.exe file to your system.
• Virus-scan h16View.exe (it's safer to virus-scan downloads).
• Double-click on h16View.exe to run it.
• Use File > Open to open a binary (or text) file.
• The file's data should now be visible in hex & ASCII format.
  You should be able to scroll through the file easily.
• h16View allows you to choose from several different fixed-width fonts & background colors.
